Ik ben al een tijdje bezig met combinaties van collages met karton (vooral opengevouwen doosjes) en acrylverf. Wat ik er zo fijn aan vind, is dat je zo een heleboel mooie structuren ‘gratis’ krijgt. Het zijn een soort cadeautjes waar je dan zelf nog iets mee kunt doen. Je kunt je erdoor laten inspireren, er nog iets aan toevoegen, of ze misschien gewoon laten zoals ze zijn.
For a while now I've been working with combinations of cardboard collages (mainly old boxes that I folded open) and acrylics. The thing I like about this, is that this way you get loads of interesting structures ‘for free’. Like little presents with which you may choose to work further. You could use them as inspiration, add things to them, or just leave them like they are.
